The Quebec Remparts did the expected Thursday -- but it wasn't easy. Olivier Hinse's second goal of the game 12:18 into overtime led the Remparts to a 6-5 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in Game 1 of their QMJHL first-round playoff series. Full Story.

Alexander Burmistrov scored twice and added two assists as the Barrie Colts throttled the Sudbury Wolves 11-4 Thursday in their first-round OHL playoff opener. The Colts were nearly unbeatable at home during the regular season, going 30-2-2. Full Story.
