Giguere surrenders first goals as Sharks beat Maple Leafs
The bubble finally burst for J.S.Giguere, and the San Jose Sharks eventually got the better of the Maple Leafs. Coyote Ugly
Matthew Lombardi had two goals and three assists for a career-high five points as the Phoenix Coyotes routed sputtering Edmonton 6-1 on Monday night for their 36th victory, matching their total from last season. It was the most one-sided victory of the season for Coyotes. Full Story.
A New Direction
The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday that Bob Gainey has stepped down as general manager of the hockey club and that the team has promoted Pierre Gauthier as Executive Vice President and general manager. Gainey will stay with the front office in an advisory role. Full Story.
